| Accommodation
Prague offers a complete range of accommodation possibilities from the cheapest student hostels to the very best luxury 5 star hotels such as; We suggest a good area to stay in Prague is an area called "Vinohrady" (Prague 2; metro stops: Jiřího z Poděbrad / Náměstí Míru), which is a nice quiet residential area 15 min walk from the historical centre (or one or two stops on the metro). This Art Nouveau and Art Deco neighbourhood has become the home to numerous gay clubs and businesses with some 15 gay bars and clubs (take a look at our Prague gay guide). It is still in the centre, however, the hotels here are a bit cheaper than in the Old Town and you have all the fun within walking distance with no need to use public transport or a taxi to get back to your hotel late at night (or early morning!). We live there too ;-) A good price for a standard 3 star hotel in this area is 80-95 € / night, however, a single room in a similar City centre hotel will normally costs 95-120 €. The Czech Republic is a very liberal society and you will find all hotels gay friendly. If you would like your
own apartment in a convenient part of town, just a short walk from the
historical centre, at a good price, we can recommend one offered by our friends
at q-cafe.
The self-catering apartment offers accommodation for up to 6 persons.
Definitely not the cheapest 5 Star boutique hotel around but perhaps the most stylish! ![]()
