Traditional small pub, well hidden from most tourists in a small street behind to the Old Town Square offering great beer and great traditional meals in a rustic style decorated interior. ![]() One of the oldest and probably the most popular pub in Prague. It has its own brewery producing a wonderful type of dark lager since 1499! A huge pub with several halls and a nice summer garden. Usually has live accordion music. ![]()

Probably the last really authentic local pub in Prague where local men regularly meet by 'their' table. The Pub where Vaclav Havel, Bill Clinton and Madeline Albright came to meet with the great Czech novelist Bohumil Hrabal. It's definitely worth a visit, but a little warning; this is the place where local men are at home and a tourist is welcome only when there is a enough space for the regulars! If someone is giving you an unusual stare, it may be because you are in 'their' seat! ![]()
